Housecalls

The Essence of Life Healthcare advances this goal by meeting the total care needs of clients who cannot receive primary care in the traditional provider office setting. We further believe that the Essence of Life Healthcare must achieve and sustain health maintenance, healing, illness prevention, and functional/self-care independence of clients, and thereby: 

A. Prevent unnecessary admission to nursing homes.

 
B. Reduce the length and recurrence of hospitalization.

 
C. Diminish unnecessary utilization of out-patient institutional services.

Housecalls services can be utilized under certain situations. It is imperative that you check whether your insurance plan covers housecall visits. If you are unsure, we can guide you through this process

Housecall services should not be used in place of the need for emergency services. If you have the following symptoms please call 911 for emergent intervention:


•Chest Pain
•Shortness of Breath
•Heart Palpitations
•Facial abnormalities
•One sided weakness
•Speech abnormalities
•Major Injuries
•COVID symptoms (Fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting)
•Recent exposure to a person who is COVID 19 positive person
•Recent exposure to someone who is suspected to have COVID 19
